CARE & MAINTENANCE FOR SILK
Silk is, despite the luxurious and elegant feeling it gives, easy to care for. Since silk does not attract mites, dust and other particles, this natural material does not need to be washed as often as other materials. Once you do wash it, never use detergents with bleach or enzymes, as these break down the fine fats naturally found in silk. Below are washing and care instructions for silk.
CARE & MAINTENANCE SILK JERSEY - UNDERWEAR
These garments must be washed at 30 degrees (delicate wash) with an environmentally friendly and enzyme-free liquid detergent, e.g. specially made for wool and silk. Recommendation to use a laundry bag. Do not use fabric softener and do not tumble dry the silk product. Steaming is to prefer. Hang out and air and the silk is freshened with the help of the oxygen in the air. All products should be hung to dry. If you follow the washing instructions, you will enjoy your underwear for many years to come.
CARE & MAINTENANCE SILK PAJAMAS/SATIN
For optimal care, hand wash the garment in lukewarm water using an enzyme-free liquid detergent, specifically designed for wool and silk. Ensure a thourough rinse. Limit washing to no more than 3-5 minutes, and avoiding water that is too cold or too hot. To preserve the fabric´s natural sheen, you may add pure white vinegar to the final rinse to neutralize the material.
Gently squeeze out excess water (do not wring), then roll the PJ in a towel to absorb moisture. Hang or lay flat to air dry. To prvent creases, occasionnally puff the garment during drying. Avoid using wooden hangers, as they may leave marks on the fabric. Keep the garment out of direct sunlight to protect the fibers and prevent color fading.
CARE & MAINTENANCE SILK FILLING - DUVETS & PILLOWS
The silk quilt should not, and does not need to, be washed because silk does not attract particles, such as dust or mites. It is enough to air. All nice silk properties will then be maintained. If an accident happens, you should only wash the affected part. Stains are best treated with wool and silk detergent.

Your order is processed within 1-3 working days. Products that are in stock are usually delivered within 1-3 working days within Sweden and 3-5 working days within Europe.
If a shipment is delayed or cannot be shipped due to inventory or other reasons, the customer will be informed of this as soon as possible, but no later than 30 days after the order has been placed. The customer then has the right to cancel the order and/or receive a refund at no extra cost.
Right of withdrawal and exchange
You always have an open purchase for 14 days according to the Consumer Act, www.konsumentlagen.se. The only condition is that the item is returned in its original condition, i.e. that it has not been used and is therefore in essentially unchanged condition. Any packaging must also be attached. When returning, you pay for the return shipping yourself. As soon as we have received your return and inspected it, you will be contacted via email. The refund to your payment card takes place at the same time. In the event of a possible wrong delivery, contact us directly via email and a return slip will be sent to you immediately. You use this on your return. Other return costs are not reimbursed. You are responsible for the item until it is returned to Sidenkompaniet. You have no right of withdrawal if the item cannot be returned due to its condition. Unredeemed packages are not covered by the right of withdrawal. Our safe and flexible payments are managed by Klarna AB. You can choose to pay in several different ways; via credit card, invoice, partial payment or directly via your internet bank. Sidenkompaniet NEVER saves any information regarding your credit card. Shipping costs are added.
Refund
Card payment As soon as your return has been received, inspected and administered, you will be contacted via email and the amount will be returned to your payment card.
Complaint
If you wish to advertise an item or if an item has been mis-shipped, please email info@sidenkompaniet.se. Enter the order number and describe the nature of the error. We will notify you if the item is in stock for exchange. When returning your complaint, you describe the nature of the fault on the "Return form" and send the item back to us. You also tick the "Complaint" box. When the complaint reaches us, it is inspected by Sidenkompaniet and we contact you for further information regarding the complaint. The silk company is responsible for the return shipping of the complaint. The new item is normally sent within 1 week after we receive your complaint, provided it is in stock. If the item is not in stock, the amount for the item will be refunded to you. In the case of complaints, the Consumer Purchase Act is applied: www.konsumentverket.se. In the event of a dispute, Sidenkompaniet follows the recommendations of the General Complaints Board.
